Good news – the TSW has purchased gauges, at a cost of $15,000 each, to be installed at the dams of the Haliburton Sector reservoir lakes that don't already have the automated stations. The following lakes are presently being remotely monitored using the automated equipment: Kennisis, Redstone, Maple, Twelve Mile, Horseshoe, Gull, Moore, Anstruther, Mississauga, Eels, and Jack Lakes.
Installation at most of the lakes will be completed over the next two years.The data from these new stations will provide much better information for water control and the water level website.
