Water Management Update – June 21/17

The CEWF Executive committee is maintaining regular contact with the TSW water management team. We are aware that the higher than normal levels on most reservoirs are a concern for property owners with respect to impacts on shoreline erosion and waterfowl nesting. These levels have persisted because of the recent rainfall events, particularly the heavy rains over Haliburton last weekend. TSW is working to manage levels down to full levels but the rate of drawdown will vary depending on how much more rainfall we get in the next few days. The goal is to restore normal seasonal levels in all parts of the TSW system as soon as possible.
