The rain and snow in the current forecast will be welcome and will allow TSW to continue raising levels across the reservoirs where most lakes are below average for this date. The water management team is actively managing levels and flows across the system taking account of the limited snow pack and relatively low lake levels. At the same time their actions must be balanced to maintain storage to deal with potential extreme spring rainfall events as we experienced In April and May in 2013 and 2017.
