With the election behind us, it is now time to focus on helping to shape the Government's upcoming priorities. The Finance Minister has committed to infrastructure spending to help stimulate the economy:

The TSW Experts Report "It's All About The Water" has highlighted the need for long overdue investment in the TSW infrastructure, with public safety and environmental health currently at risk.
To this end, the CEWF Advisory Committee has written Barry Devolin, newly re-elected MP for Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock, urging him to champion inclusion of the TSW funding in the upcoming Throne Speech and Budget:

We're optimistic that Mr. Devolin will lead the charge, however he needs our support. Write to Mr. Devolin reinforcing our position, and contact your home MP, where different, so that there will be a wide base of parliamentary support for the initiative.
