Using The TSW Water Levels Website

· TSW provides a website containing information on the water levels of the TSW Reservoir Lakes.

o The direct link - https://parks.canada.ca/lhn-nhs/on/trentsevern/info/infonet/niveau-eau-water-levels

· This same site can also be accessed from the CEWF website under the heading ‘Live Water Levels

· On this TSW site, first choose the lake for which you wish to view water level data:

o Click on ‘Trent-Severn Waterway water levels’ (or just click on the map)

o This brings up an interactive map plus a listing of all the lakes

o Click on your lake of choice either from the map or the list

o Screenshots of a sample lake (Drag Lake) are captured below to help illustrate

· The initial view of the chosen lake (see below) shows a graph of the current year with several lines recording the following:

o Current year water levels up to the latest reading

o Maximum, Minimum, and Average recorded levels for any given day of the year based on the TSW historical records (typically going back 30-40 years)

· All these lines are interactive – hovering your pointer over any part of any of the lines will show the data for that date.

· It is also possible to display the same data in tabular form but only for the last 30 days (see below for a partial sample)

o click on ‘Table’

· Note that the CEWF website also provides historical water level data for each lake

o under ‘Archives’, click on ‘Water Level Summaries by Year’ https://www.cewf.ca/archives/water-level-summaries

o choose the year and the lake
