"I am pleased to announce that Anna Ciorap will be acting as the Water
Management Engineer on a six month acting assignment. Abul Kashem has left
Parks Canada to pursue other opportunities.
Anna has been working with the water control group of Ontario Waterways
since 2013 as a Water Management Technician. She brings to her new position
her strong experience in Parks Canada water management practices and a
great familiarity with the watersheds that feed the Trent-Severn Waterway
and the Rideau Canal. Anna obtained her PhD in Physical Geography from York
University in 2013: she also has expertise in GIS and remote sensing
techniques and extensive hydrological field work experience, with a
particular interest in Northern Canada.
