July 6th Drawdown Forecast Now Available

TSW Releases Drawdown Forecast July 6th 2026

The Drawdown Season has officially begun! After a crazy spring with too much water; as we enter our regular drawdown season, we find our lakes to be at or near where they should be at this time of year. Now that we are in drawdown, regular releases will be coming out from TSW and posted by us [Right Here!] so stay tuned.
As this is the first one of the year, here is a quick rundown of how these works. (If you have heard this before feel free to scroll to get to the forecast)
These forecasts are going to be released on a weekly basis. They are 'rolling' 2 week forecasts allowing for adjustments based on the environment. The forecasts are made in a vacuum not taking in to account weather. This is mostly because you cannot trust the weather to be predictable. What this means is any rain in the area will affect and change the end levels. This is the main reason to forecast out 2 weeks on a weekly basis. It is also worth mentioning that looking at your dam and number of logs is not a reliable source of what your lake level will do. Up stream log operations will also dictate what water levels will do in down stream lakes.
