TSW Releases Drawdown Forecast August 30th 2026
The march towards winter set is stepping up now. Officially the TSW is expecting the lakes to all be at the average winter sets by October 15th. Since many of the lakes are well above the average line, it means that some lakes are going to start to drop a little faster to round out the drawdown season. The TSW is going to work very hard to avoid sudden drops by trying to limit log pulls to half logs at a time. Keep an eye on this forecast to see if your lake is going to see an accelerated draw down.
