Navigable Waters Protection Act – CEWF Position Paper

The proposed changes to the NWPA have proceeded to Senate Committee. We have submitted on behalf of the CEWF the following Position Paper:

New Parks Canada Water Level Web Site

In 2008, Parks Canada was very kind to provide us with their internal water level measurements and forecasts for the TSW. This year, Parks Canada has launched their own web site showing TSW water levels:

2015 Pan-Am Games Kayaking in Minden

As part of Toronto's bid for the 2015 Pan-Am Games, the kayaking venue would be coming to the Gull River:

More funding for TSW!

On February 27th, The Honourable Jim Prentice announced that the Government of Canada will invest $20 million in addition to the $63 million announced last year to carry out a wide variety of works including upgrades to water management structures, bridge repairs and concrete works on the Trent-Severn Waterway.
